More than 140 Poster Abstracts have already been submitted by participants from 22 countries on 5 continents.
Due to continuing strong demand the deadline for online poster abstract submission was extended
until January 30, 2005.


February 6, 2005
The program is close to final now. With 113 speakers and chairs and more than 200 submitted abstracts the congress will be the largest
one to bring togehter experimental and clinical cancer research
in Germany this year.

February 7, 2005
Important new discoveries just published or about to appear in leading journals like Nature and Cell will be discussed at the congress, e.g. Eugen Kerkhoff
will report about the molecular function of the breast tumor associated protein Spir, work just published in Nature last week ("Drosophila Spir is an actin nucleation factor", Nature 433, 382-388).

March 16, 2005
More than 550 participants from 30 countries were counted at the end of the congress.

The congress ended with the awards for the best posters. The following posters were selected and received a price sponsored by Faustus GmbH, Leipzig
